Artist's Statement

I am fascinated with the role of movement in every aspect of our lives. I look at the ways we move within stillness, thought, relationship, experience. I look at the ways we refuse to move. I believe all of this has a place on the stage, that all of it can be considered dance.

I am passionate about the presence and sense of community that live performance offers. In our digital age, I am deeply touched by moments of shared time and space.

I look for honesty and integration in my choreography. I am interested in asking questions and inviting audience members to do the same. I am interested in performance that speaks to me and to the ways in which I want to live.

About the Company
